She Had To Refuse A Marriage Proposal In Order Not To Lose Her Dog

Well, that’s exactly what happened to a girl from India. The whole thing got so serious that she even had to refuse a marriage proposal. If she said yes, she would have lost her dog.

Karishma and Lucy are inseparable, why should she lose her dog?
As in many places in India, marriages are arranged. It happened to Karishma, who almost entered into an arranged marriage with a man she did not know.
Lucy is Karishma’s dog. They grew up together, are partners and friends, simply inseparable.
We assume that Karishma, like many women who are arranged for marriage, was not very enthusiastic about the idea of getting married. But in India this is so common and women have to obey their families. But everything took a turn when the man who proposed her marriage indicated to Karishma that Lucy, her dog, would be a problem. - SHE: Yes, because it will be a problem later because the dog is part of my life.
- ER: Are you sure of your decision? Maybe you only like dogs now, this can be temporary. We are talking about your life here.
- SHE: Yes, I am sure. A pet is not temporary. I love animals. I can’t and don’t want to leave my dog for anyone.
- ER: I’m sorry to say that, but then marry your dog.
- SHE: You don’t have to get arrogant or rude just because it won’t work between us.
Karishma was always sure of her decision
Karishma knows that her mother still thinks that this man would have been perfect for her and that she made a big mistake. This created problems and pressures from her family. However, Karishma was not ready to give in. Who is able to ask a loved one to leave an animal that is part of their life?
It seems that that wasn’t the end of it and the man kept writing to her. He wrote things like “family is priority”, “how can a dog be the center of your life?”, “Your career is not important”.
This man knows nothing about loyalty and love. Love that Lucy Karishma had given all the years they were together. He does not understand that the bitch is a living being and has been part of Karishma’s life since she was adopted.
Karishma didn’t even want to think about it. She would not give up her animal for a marriage proposal, she would lose her dog for nothing or anyone. What a good example!
